Celebrate National Sew a Jelly Roll Day by Moda Fabrics! Pick up your favorite Jelly Roll and 7/8 yd of background 5/8 yd of binding and 4 yds of backing, print off the pattern from Modafabrics.com and come sew a quilt with your friends!

You Need:

• Jelly Roll

• 7/8 yd Background fabric

• 5/8 yd Binding

• 4 yd backing

• Half Step pattern

Fabrics: (to be purchased at Treasure Chest Quilting) Kit fee: $

Additional Supplies:

• Sewing machine in top working order with power cord and foot pedal

• New 70 needle

• Open toe foot, ¼” foot for your machine

• Thread

• Small scissors

• Rotary cutter with new blade

• 12 x 18 or larger cutting mat

• Small ruler (6.5” x 12.5”)

• Small iron & wool pressing mat or pressing surface

• Acorn starch spray and pen

• Other sewing supplies (seam ripper, marking tools, etc.)

Before class:

• Purchase kit/supplies

• Cut Jelly Roll strips per instructions on the Half Step Pattern (2 - 2 ½ ” x 6 ½,” 2 - 2 ½” x 8 1/2” and 2 1/2”) Cut Background fabric 36 - 4 ½” x 6 ½”.
