Description:

Learn how to foundation paper piece using Judy Niemeyer’s technique. This class will be three (3) days with some independent work between classes. The pattern is small and there are several techniques that will help you conquer other Judy Niemeyer patterns!

You Need:

• The Beach House Pattern

• 12” Add-a-quarter Ruler

• Gallon Ziploc Bags

• A Purple Thang

• Glue stick and glue pen (with refills)

• Flower pins

• Binder clips

• Fold template (plastic 12” x 3” piece or postcard)

• Stapler

Fabrics: (to be purchased at Treasure Chest Quilting) Kit fee: $

• Kit for class

• Your choice of 8 different fabrics for Twinkle Star pattern

Additional Supplies:

• Sewing machine in top working order with power cord and foot pedal

• New 70 needle

• Open toe foot, ¼” foot for your machine

• Thread

• Small scissors

• Rotary cutter with new blade

• 12 x 18 or larger cutting mat

• Small rulers (6.5” x 24.5” and 6.5” x 12.5”)

• Small iron & wool pressing mat or pressing surface

• Acorn starch spray and pen

• Other sewing supplies (seam ripper, marking tools, etc.)

• Light box

• Purchase kit/supplies

• Starch fabrics

• Please DO NOT cut any papers or fabrics before class!
